On 31st August I had posted 2 questions…asking how do you think the reactions were..

Well in the first case when the FII threatened the management with dire consequences, the FII thought that the management would fall at its feet. However the broker knew one big limitation that that particular transaction had. So the brilliant broker gave the client a simple advice. Sell YOUR OWN HOLDING FIRST. The FII had such a massive hit on the portfolio, that they had to eat crow.

In the second case the broker ‘friend’ who realised that his ‘partner’ was in financial trouble – SOLD VERY HEAVILY – this hurt the share price as well as his friend. The hurt was really severe.

I am not sure how many of us can sell portions of our portfolio – when we know that it might hurt our friend.

Hey Market has no place for sentiment.

No further details please…
