My name is P V Subramanyam, a Chartered Accountant by qualification and a financial trainer by profession. Writing comes from the reading that I do.   To make money you do not need too many ideas. You need simple ideas and discipline. Hopefully that comes out in the blog.

After a 20 year career serving in the trenches of the financial services industry – from Equity broking, mutual fund advising, corporate finance advising, personal financial planning, I turned to training.

We have trained in most mutual funds, life insurance companies, private sector banks, brokerage houses, and many companies.We also conduct financial planning workshops within corporates, helping employees save better, invest better, equipping smart people with the tools to get richer. Have done workshops for 2-3 advertising agencies and public relationship agencies on behalf of Templeton mutual fund and J P Morgan Mutual fund.

Recently wrote a book on wealth creation called ‘Retire Rich Invest Rs. 40 a day. It is a book on wealth creation over a long period of time. See the page on ‘book I have written’. It has so far sold upwards of 43,000 copies mostly in India. The number of copies sold online is also quite encouraging. Flipkart.com and infibeam are also reporting good numbers.

Am a part of a team which does ‘Portfolio Doctor’ – a column in Money Today. Have also appeared on business channels like ET Tv, Utvi (Utvi Bloomberg), Zee business, Cnbc awaaz, on personal finance shows like Smart Money, MoneyGuru, Investor’s Guide….and the like. Write a regular column for Money Mantra and ocassional column for Financial Express, Money Today, etc.
