This is an Amazing post because of some amazing stories…the last one is REAL..

One rich man had sent his servant to Dadar (let us say?) to run some errand. The servant saw the Goddess of Death – and came back running to his boss’s house at Ghatkopar.

The rich man saw the Goddess of Death and said ‘Why did you scare my servant?’

Goddess of death said ‘Oh no…I did not scare him, I was surprised to see him in Dadar. I had to take his life in Ghatkopar’.

Amazing story, right? well no. Here is a real life incident…your hair will stand up…

Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned-out section of forest while assessing the damage done by a forest fire. The deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask.

A postmortem test revealed that the man died not from burns, but from massive internal injuries. Dental records provided a positive identification. Investigators then set about to determine how a fully clothed diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire.

It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the man went diving off the coast, some 20 miles from the forest. The fire fighters, seeking to control the fire as quickly as possible, had called in a fleet of helicopters with very large dip buckets. Water was dipped from the ocean and emptied at the site of the forest fire.

  1. SAM – is death scary? or not knowing the date scary? and are u sad for the body or for the soul that does not die anyway?

  2. One of my favourite quotes of Ramana:

Whatever is destined not to happen will not happen, try as you may. Whatever is destined to happen will happen, do what you may to prevent it. This is certain. The best course, therefore, is to remain silent.

  3. Subra,

Death is inevitable. We all know that. What is scary is – we might have left so much unfinished.

Yes, California story is amazing. Everything is pre ordained. Even unfinished work!

  4. as i understood . JAINISM says , for any happening, there always have five causes simultaneously ( the proportion may be different):
    1. effort (purushartha)
    2. luck (due to your previous lives’ karmas)
    3. destiny (universe cycle )
    4. time, rather timing of the happening
    5. nature of the objects concerned

  5. A Rajikanth dialogue:(Translated to english)
What u will get, u get it however… What u wont, you cant get it whatever 🙂
