What did you learn about Personal Finance in 2018? I mean learnt and implemented and benefited (or not benefited, so adapting it for 2019 and after).

Thanks to Hindu Business Line Aarati Krishnan’s tweet, I got reference of subramoney.com in 2018. This is an eye opener for me. Never invested other than FD & traditional insurance policies, All these years spending more time reading polical news, Missed most part of my earning life without investing. When I read first article about Retirement planning felt ashamed of living without any idea of financial planning and investing. I am confident with Subra Anna’s advise and reading regularly his blogs to take corrective actions. decided to take following actions.
1. Invest in Equity mutual finds through SIP
2. Propogate Subra Anna’s blog as much as possible to yoursters and encourage them start investing early
3. Learn more about finance planning through reading books and share the knowledge
