This book was written long ago…and in all its versions – hard copy, soft copy, Hindi edition, Kindle version, corporate sales, retail sales…..it has sold more than 150,000 copies. I mean it could be about 160,000…

That’s a brilliantly nice number. Even if I am saying it. Just blowing my own trumpet.

But this post is not about that.

This post is about requesting you to please give me a feedback on the book.

What more do you expect to see in this book?

I am not giving any guidelines…give a free wheeling feedback…

  1. Sir,
Having read the book multiple times and gifted some of them to my contacts, I have a couple of small suggestions:
    1. Probably a small reboot to reflect today’s realities
    2. Examples/ Live cases could help to drive home the point
    3. Perhaps a section dedicated to the young generation with a lot of disposable income at hand
    4. One of your FB posts talked about investing in relationships. Perhaps you could have a small section about the same – This makes it a little philosophical, but I feel it would help immensely in today’s world

  2. Hi. Can anyone give link to Kindle version so that i can buy it?
I couldn’t find in Amazon India. Only Paperback edition is available.

  3. I have owned the book– read a few chapters.
I found it a little basic, which probably was intentional.
Sometimes on the blog you point out “between the line” inferences, perhaps that could be added to the book as well?

All the best with the new book, Subrabhai.

  4. Remember we provided a list 2 years back, do you have that post. I think this book needs big re-write as a follow-on.
    A) Assume first book will remain chapter 1.
    B) new book, new chapter (next) chapter 2, bring in 22nd century complexities
    – Retirement fund risk – Aadhar mismatch, Govt disabling Aadhar due to court order ?, online risk, Bail-in risks.
    – For the generation retiring in 2040-2060s, its gonna be killer time, and God only save them all. Most with small micro-nuclear family, hardly any bonding with relatives etc, and ever increasing life-span…
    – Add chapter – Save 40/- of health every day to retire rich (Healthy)

  5. C) Cost of replacement – in retirement funds/emergency funds, this seems to be really big compared to gen retiring 2000-2020. So for a life-space of 40-50 yrs in retirement, I think need to work for 15-20 years in retirement just to be afloat.

  6. D) Cost of lifestyle disease management currently is approx 100/- per day (3000-4000 per month) per person. For a 40 year lifestyle disease management – funding ?
