In most houses your parents or grandparents do keep a ‘Ekadesi’ fast. On that day you are not supposed to eat anything – so people like my mother eat 2 bananas during the day and has her cup of coffee. That is what she eats all day.

Does it help? Well science has said that there are a lot of benefits of teaching the body to live on less – and it helps. I also helps the body to burn some fat – but hey no, it is not a great weight loss idea. Now there is some info that it helps diabetics..interesting read..

I truly believe that health is wealth and was actually waiting for right opportunity to share two documentaries with you which have changed my perception on health completely. 1st one is from Dr. John Bergman and 2nd by Dr. Robert Lustig from University of California.
