as a sales trainer i have met some amazingly good sales person..and I could write a lot about how to be a good sales person. In fact I know some people who think talking is selling. It is not. Telling is not selling at all. Getting the client to be interested in a product at a fair price and being able to ask for the cheque is very important. Many CEOs pretend to be good salesmen, but they are not. In fact their not being a good salesman has 2 disastrous impacts – no sales and also they do not appoint a good sales manager. What gets even worse is that the salesmen they appoint is not respected at all….so read on….
