The South Africans are chokers or do they panic?

Well all the commentators call them chokers, do they not?

Well Malcolm Gladwell (Tipping Point fame) has come out with the difference between panicking and choking very well. He has used a game of tennis as an example.

Akash Chopra (Cricketer) has adapted the concept to the behavior of the South African team and here is a nice article which has appeared in espncricinfo ….read on, it is worth it:

  1. Subra Sir,

This is a question for a different context.

I’ve seen quite a lot of referrals in your blog articles for your book. While I do plan to buy it, the moment Iam convinced Iam going to take time out to read it to completion, just curious to know your opinion on how the book will have additional influence on equity and debt investing for people who are already your regular blog readers. You can choose to reply to this as a separate blog write up as well 🙂 Will surely help non-finance folks to differentiate benefits of casual finance reading on blogs from serious stuff in investment books. Thanks !
