Dr. D Y Patil is a winner of the Padmashree award and his son Vijay Patil has built a beautiful stadium in Nerul and named it after his father. This includes an international stadium, an Olympic sizeĀ  swimming pool, cricket ground, tennis courts, badminton courts, etc. Of course the cricket ground is famous…where you watched Chennai beat Mumbai Indians led by Sachin Tendulkar. Of course it is here that you saw Mumbai IndiansĀ  thrash Deccan Chargers led by Adam Gilchrist.

It is the same place where Ravi Shastri and Harsha Bogle were commenting and Sunil Gavaskar giving special comments on the match…

Along with it is a Medical college, a Dental college, …and now even a management college. Apart from all this of course a huge hospital

However now they seem to be worried about getting enough students…..

So they are setting up a school. An international school with international fees. So that these students can then join the colleges.

However what happens if there are not enough children to join the school…

So they also have a fertility treatment wing….

Talk of backward integration..from seed to grave…..!

  1. This is really hilarious. You do have a sense of humor.

Btw I bought your book and am reading it. Must say it makes sense so far and love its production values.

  2. I heard this in a presentation of Apollo Hospitals which was recommended a buy, long time back.
‘Womb to Tomb’ This encompasses all services of Hospital.

    Regards

  3. Yes it’s funny but the colleges are most sought after admissions are full and no vacancies. I tried getting in but no luck, they are one of the best in the country, no university has such a stadium nor such excellent facilities
