Western Bankers terribly over-paid
Bankers in Europe did not behave like this when they were paid moderate salaries. By the time they were in their 50s and could retire they still had to worry about their partnership in the bank to be sold.
Indian, Japanese and some other East Asian bankers are not in the same set as the American bankers as far as pay is concerned. And they did behave differently

hmm.why dont they see the fact that the preponderance of wall st started only after the gold link to the dollar was severed.
post 1971,money printing and sweet deals to the insiders ie wall st clearly led to the phenomenon of cats licking off the cream from the top.it is the govt at fault.
india is getting there.
