If you are 22 years of age and have been smart enough to open an NPS, HONESTLY, ,, you should not read this article.

However, if you are 50 and thinking of opening an NPS account, you should. If you have 38 years to worry about taxation, do not bother. It will change at LEAST 38 TIMES IF NOT 380 TIMES.

You should have a Mutual fund Pension plan (latest amc to launch is SBI). Your NpS should be used to buy annuities – and your amc pension plan should compound from age 60 to end of life.
