The interest rates charged are astronomical As far as possible I use cash or my debit card for purchases.. Only the internet has made credit cards unavoidable.. Most of the sites only accept credit card as payment..So I have a credit card but usually safely locked inside my cabinet locker.. Not in my purse. And I do some small purchases just to keep the card active.. This entire credit card business is a scam..
